Tea Samutpada

e made up by some natural plants, like edible tree mushroom, licorice root, folia mori, tea, containing amino acid, unsaturated fatty, catechol, and sometrace elements, for enhancing metabolism and waking up the brain, reinforcing the appetite, delaying senile, regulating endocrinosity, resisting cancer, strengthening digest function.

It has been said from ancient time that the one who has drunken nectar (or “jade-like dew”) will live a long life. In the Stories of Ten Continents, “there is a Continent called Yingzhou, where nectar is like wine and may make one live a long life.” Han Wu Emperor built a copper fairy man holding a copper plate in the Jianzhang Palace, and the plate would be held out to receive the nectar to be drunk along with jade powder. It was said that such nectar may help to enhance one’s working efficiency and improve one’s memory. Wei Ming Emperor later did the same thing as Han Wu Emperor. There is even a copper imitation in Beihai Park in Beijing which is a fairy man holding out a copper plate. The fairy tale about nectar prolonging one’s life is also reflected in legendary stories, such as in the Collection of Taiping Stories, in which there is a moving story about Pei Hang. Pei Hang was a scholar in Tang Dynasty and once was traveling in Hubei Province. He took a ship on his way back home where he met a beautiful lady by the surname of Fan. Pei Hang greeted her and she answered with a poem, “I drink the nectar and many feelings arise. You will meet a girl called Yunyin in the Lan Bridge which is a nice place to live, so why do you take the trouble of going to the capital?” Later when he past the Lan Bridge he felt thirty and asked for a drink from an old lady, who called her daughter named Yun Ying to give him a drink. Pei Hang drank it all and felt it was like nectar. Then he recalled the poem said by Lady Fan and asked the old lady if he could marry Yun Ying. The old lady asked Pei Hang to send her a jade bowl for blending nectar recipes and work on it for a hundred days. Pei Hang followed it and married her at last. Both of drank nectar and lived a happy and long life. This story is also recorded in the Stories from Qingpingshanfang Studio, a play called Pei Hang Meeting the Fairies written by Geng Tianxi, a playwright in Yuan Dynasty, the Story of Lan Bridge by Long Ying, a writer in Ming Dynasty and the Story of Jade Bowl of Lan Bridge by Yang Zhijiong, all of which which were derived from the same story. You can see that this story has a great impact in history.

The nectar in the legend was a special liquid which were to be contributed only to emperors and fairies due to its difficult processing, (e.g., the making of recipes should take a hundred days and the liquid must be dew received by a copper plate). Component A—recent clinical study and animal researches prove the following functions.

1. Resistance to aging

Saponin in the component prolongs life of cells and inhibits peroxides lipid in the liver, thus delaying aging of the body. This is the important pharmacological mechanism of resisting aging.

2. Resistance to fatigue. Animal researches indicate that component A significantly prolongs activity time of the tested animals, which is in accordance with the clinical report that it can improve work efficiency and prolong working hours.

3. Promotion of calmness and sleep and resistance to nervousness, especially suitable for those who are doing business or doing mental work

4. Prevention and treatment of arteriosclerosis, hyperlipemia and liver diseases. Its saponin reduces serum neutral fat and total cholesterol and inhibits glutamic-pyruvic transaminase in serum.

5. Prevention and resistance to cancer

6. Regulation of endocrine and promotion of reaction and immunity of the human body

Animal researches indicate that it prevents reduction of adrenal cortical hormone, atrophy of thymus gland and plasm cortisol caused by glucocorticoid (such as cortisone) . The functions makes it safer to use glucocorticoid to treat toxic shock, allergies, auto-immune diseases such as rheumatism, rheumatic & rheumatoid arthritis, lupus erythematosus, dermatitis and kidney disorders.

Takemoto Tunematu finds that saponin III, IV, VIII and XII in component A have the same structure as ginsenoside Rb1, Rb3, Rd and F2, decomposed saponinΙ is of identical structure as ginsenosideK and saponin V-AH is of the same type of structure as ginsenoside Rg3. This has been concluded by Strict scientific researches and clinical application upon thousands of people.

After years of researches upon component A, Dr. Arituti Shigeru (professor of the Medical School under Japan kinki University) and Fujiwara Akio (director of Japan Educational Culture Institute) point out that “why can’t it be of the same functions since it is of the same component as Korean ginseng? It is of modest price and easy use, more advantageous than Korea ginseng.”

Component B:

Tea Samutpata is a perfect combination of component A and component B. In ancient times, component B was originally the wonder for treating tuberculosis. Jing E San Fang Yao Lu states that “Someone who was dying of tuberculosis dreamed that an old man gave him a medicinal herb, with which he recovered. When he awaked, he searched for the medicinal herb; finally he had the herb and recovered. ” the herb contains what in the Component B which is chiefly spread in Guangdong, Guangxi and Yunnan. In ancient times, the area was not easily accessible and was scarcely available in the central area, making it mythic. Modern researches reveal that the medicinal herb contains minerals such as organic germanium and iron as well as vitamins B1, E and K hardly found in natural plants; it resists infection, allergy and aging, activates NK cells, induces r-interferon, promotes reproduction of Th cells and improves immunity by reinforcing activities of T cells. Combination of component A and component B enhances effectiveness and as Chang Hao Lu puts it, “it nourishes the body and prevents diseases, excellent to those who demand protection and those who are diseased.
