Filled with food, the mucosa tissue is made stretched and smoothed; with empty stomach or small intestine, it is wrinkled—similar to the skin of the old. The outer layer is made of smooth muscles. It is often mentioned that stomach and intestinal disorders occur in the mucosa tissue instead of in the smooth muscles. The UNAUPATTA group and the saline group are cultivated for 24 hours under the same condition and it is found that UNAUPATTA’s antibacterial effect is 2.5 times that of saline. It is proven that UNAUPATTA really protects the stomach and intestine by antibacterial functions. Mice are used in the third test. First, we apply ethanol (alcohol) to the stomach of mice, damaging the mocusa tissue. Four hours later, we apply UNAUPATTA to the treatment group and saline to the control group (twice a day). One hour after the second application, the mice are dissected and observed so that total damage area of stomach mocusa is calculated by bleeding spots. In the saline group, the total damage area is 17.8  m² and in the UNAUPATTA group, it is 3.85  m², with a difference of 4.62 times. Researches have proven that UNAUPATTA is definitely effective in treatment of bleeding ulcer.

Improvement of immunity

I

mprovement of immunity leads to inhibition of malignant tumors in the stomach and intestine. The human immunity depends on two immune systems—cellular immune system and humoral (lymph fluid) immune system; the former is of much more importance. The cellular immune system includes macrophages and leucocytes. UNAUPATTA’s effect upon macrophages is tested with mice. Phagocytosis (swallowing) of marcrophages upon germs or tumor cells indicates stronger or weaker immunity. The groups are involved in the test. In one group, UNAUPATTA is injected intraperitoneally and in the control group, saline is injected. The inject lasts for seven successive days. On the fifth day, chicken’s red blood cell (RBC) liquid is injected intraperitoneally; Chicken’s RBC liquid (blood) is an invader for the mice. Chicken RBC liquids and abdominal excudates are collected so as to check the index of phagocytosis (IP) and rate of phagocytosis of marcrophages upon chicken RBC. It is found that the index of phagocytosis of marcrophages in the UNAUPATTA group is 1.76 times that in the saline group and the rate of phagocytosis is 5.45 times. It is proven that UNAUPATTA significantly improves phagocytosis of marcrophages and immunity of the human body.

To confirm the correlation between improved immunity and resistance to stomach cancer and intestinal cancer, UNAUPATTA is tested in terms of resistance to tumors.

In the laboratory test, mouse sarcom cells are mixed with UNAUPATTA solutions in one group and with saline in the control group. Cultivated under 37^oC for one hour, the culture is subcutaneously given to mice. Ten years later, examinations find no tumor cells in UNAUPATTA group and 2.16-g tumor cells in the saline group. UNAUPATTA is 100% effective in inhibition of tumor cells.

Promotion of blood circulation in mocusa

T

he stomach and intestinal mocusa is rich in blood capillaries. Blood flow of capillaries is an indicator for physiological functions of the stomach and intestine. When functioning well, the stomach and intestine are less likely to have ulcers and more likely to recover from ulcers. In addition, they absorb nutrients better.

In the test, dogs of 10 kg are used. Carry out phenobarbital intravenous injection, anesthesia and dissection and observe blood flow in mocusa before use of UNAUPATTA. Then, inject intravenously UNAUPATTA solution (1 ml / kg) and observe the difference in blood flow. It is observed that blood flow slows down soon after injection of UNAUPATTA, which returns to normal 5 minutes later. In 10 minutes, blood flow accelerates, which becomes significant in 15 minutes. The increase in blood flow remains until after one hour. It is proven that UNAUPATTA is significantly effective in treatment of gastric ulcer and gastritis. As mentioned above, poor heart function or blood flow lead to blood stagnation or oxygen shortage of the stomach and intestine, making patient more vulnerable to gastritis and gastric ulcer. So we use ex-vivo hearts of guinea pigs to test UNAUPATTA’s influence upon blood flow in coronary arteries. The UNAUPATTA solution is applied to hearts of guinea pigs in three independent tests. It is found that the output of coronary arteries is 5.2 ml/minute before the test and 16.6 ml/minute after the test, an increase of 2.1 times. It proves that UNAUPATTA reinforces the heart, which reduces risks of gastric and intestinal disorders.

UNAUPATTA functions in three aspects—antibacterial, improvement of immunity and promotion of blood circulation in stomach and intestinal mocusa—are clearly explained.
